We are incredibly excited to share Annie+Max’s NYC wedding video this morning! This was, without a doubt, one of our favorite events of 2016 so we asked Annie to help us narrate this feature:

“For those that know me well, it’s no surprise that I’ve been thinking about my wedding since I was a little girl. I get my passion for parties and events from my mom – we live for the details, surprises, and delights that go into planning, and genuinely enjoy every minute of being at our parties, hosting of course but mostly having a great time.

So, when Max and I got engaged, it was finally my (OUR) moment, and the first thing a couple must decide on is the wedding location.

We entertained Florida for a few months, but Max and I ultimately decided on New York City as it was “much more us’ – and everyone seemed to agree. We wanted our wedding to be fun and memorable and what better place than the American Museum of Natural History. It’s the one place in NYC where everyone walks inside and feels like a kid again – it inspires imagination, is incredibly grounding, and you always leaves with smiles.

To say the least – it was everything we hoped for and more – truly the best night of our lives.

…and yes, Max is still in awe of my surprise performance with Art of Stepping under the whale.”
