Up on tap this morning is a beautiful set of Glen Sanders Mansion wedding photos with a couple many of you recognize from our facebook, Erin+Joe. When I shared some photos of their engagement session on our page it absolutely blew up with comments+likes… so naturally I made sure to share their blog feature on a Thursday (when we get the most traffic). The wedding absolutely surpassed all the hype that I had been building waiting to work on the wedding day with these two. The entire theme and feel of the day was about family, love, and people sharing true relationships. From Erin+Joe meeting on Valentine’s Day, to Erin’s mother buying antique glasses for centerpieces, to Joe’s Grandmother and Aunts baking hundreds of homemade cookies for both the rehearsal and reception. These are such special events and being especially close to my family I love it.
To start the day off Erin wanted me to take the dress outside (don’t have to tell me twice) but instead of just shooting it as is, of course I had to try and up my game for these wedding photos!
The girls all had matching robes on when we arrived, and most of what we did for getting ready was outside since it was the perfect day, and shady back there
My kind of location for detail shots
Because Erin wanted a garden feel for her bouquet I made sure I tried to honor that feel with my flower shots
These getting ready photos are some of my favorites I’ve shot in a while – seriously love em!
The bridesmaids were loving it too

Back to the family, and the ceremony which was beautiful

You know we love posing our bridal party shots and mixing it up
Smokin’ light woot woot
Because Erin has danced all her life I tried to incorporate that into some of these Glen Sanders Mansion wedding photos as well
Erin’s mother sewed all of the lace chair covers in the room – it was awesome!
Erin says it best: “I have danced all my life and Joe is a 1st Lieutenant in the Army National Guard and a police officer so we decided to create personalized signature drinks named ‘The Ballerina’ and ‘The Officer.’ I also dyed my shoes ballet pink to match my ballet shoes!”
Thank you both for allowing me to capture your engagement shoot, and then once again for having me at your Glen Sanders Mansion wedding
