There is nothing we love sharing more than an Aurora Inns wedding! Even more-so when we get to share the wedding photos of a friend. Karen first came to me on the recommendation of her sister, Kris (from MOD), which meant I had to have this wedding. Kris and I have been doing weddings together for longer than either one of us wants to admit, and I know she has impeccable style/taste, so my expectations for Karen’s wedding were through the roof from the beginning. Once I found out the wedding was at the Aurora Inns (where I was married), getting ready would be at the new property, and got to know Karen…. well, I have no problem admitting this wedding was circled on my calender for quite a while.

I started off capturing some of Karen’s incredible details at the Rowland House

BIG props to Karen for getting ready in this main room with just gorgeous light peeking through all the windows. It’s an adjustment and leap of faith but she trusted us the entire day

We know we always brag about beautiful C+W brides – but c’mon! Next level stuff right here.

One of the many things I love about doing an Aurora Inns wedding is the gorgeous getting ready photo opportunities

Karen and all the bridesmaids were looking absolutely stunning

Ok, ok, we have to make sure we give some love to Mike and the guys. My good friend James Bass was there to rock this wedding with me and I’m so glad he was.

Even though they had called for rain the entire day, and brutal weather, the sun actually came out for our first look wedding photos

We did have crazy wind all day, I mean crazy, but I’ll take it if it means we get light like this all day! Just amazing creating Aurora Inns wedding photos with a couple like this on a day like this

After the portraits it was time to move down to the lakeside for the Aurora Inns wedding ceremony

Mike may not be quite as animated as Karen in general, but the looks he gave Karen during the wedding were priceless

The Aurora Inns wedding reception looked beautiful, as always

Having familiarity with several people at the wedding always makes the reception more fun as I get to understand some of the stories/jokes even more… and all these speeches were terrific.

Once that smokin butta light started creeping under the cloud cover it was time to head out for our signature Aurora Inns wedding photos at sunset

If this shot looks familiar that’s because it’s the cover of the C+W facebook page!
