What are your wedding colors and/or themes?
Neutrals–we wanted the venue itself to stand out

What is your inspiration when planning your wedding?
The mountain views–since moving to the Midwest a couple of years ago we realized how much we took them for granted! We also really focused on keeping it small and maximizing our time with our guests. We were repeatedly told “oh you’ll never get to talk to everyone!” and living so far away we wanted to have time to see everyone.

Did you incorporate any fun themes/motifs or design elements?
From the venue to the flowers to the invites we really tried to focus on the natural beauty of the mountains.

Did you include any special traditions, old or new?
A new tradition that my family started was our sweetheart table–my parents made the table for us that we will be able to use as our first dining room table (once we settle down somewhere big enough for a large dining table). We also incorporated a handfasting ceremony into our ceremony as a nod to our celtic heritage.

Is there anything else you’d like to share?
We had a fantastic time at our wedding! Everything went smoother than we could have ever hoped for thanks to our wonderful photographers and all the other amazing people we worked with!
