Recently we had the opportunity to venture out to one of the most beautiful locations in all of the Northeast – Cape Cod. We were very excited about going out for a Cape Cod engagement shoot. Immediately I had visions of tall grass with sand dunes, windy pathways full of sand, rickety wooden fences, and pretty much a perfect playground for an engagement shoot. Lauren+John came to us as friends of Tia+Bernardo (you’ll remember their Boston engagement shoot HERE), so I knew they were going to be awesome to work with. Combine them with a place I’ve been dieing to shoot for a long time and I was pretty excited to get in the car and head out for a beautiful time.

We started near a windmill where John proposed to Lauren, and while the windmill was great this little side beach had some cute little boats that I fell in love with
Love this little black and white series of them
Facebook teaser!
This is the windmill where John actually proposed
I think this is my favorite shot from the entire session
This 2nd spot we shot was called Crowe’s Pasture and was perfect for a Cape Cod engagement shoot! I have to give Lauren huge props because this place was all her idea.
Lauren was great in front of the camera!
This Cape Cod engagement shoot was a blast and the location was perfect
Thank you so much for having us and for an awesome time showing around The Cape!
